FireEG is the international brand of Shengchang Chemical Co., Ltd., founded in August 1993 in China’s Hebei Province — the primary origin of the world’s expandable graphite supply. From our first export shipment to the United States in 1993, we have grown from a raw graphite producer into a specialist manufacturer of passive fire protection systems, supplying distributors, fire protection contractors, and OEM manufacturers across more than 30 countries.
In 2023, our FEG40 Intumescent Fire Collar became UL1479 listed — one of the first such certifications awarded to a Chinese manufacturer for through-penetration firestop systems.
